My name is Elena Bonvicini. I am a 19 year old student at the University of Southern California, and I am the owner/designer of EBDenim.
I first launched this brand about a year and a half ago; I began by cutting vintage denim found at thrift stores into shorts. After seeing what a huge success our shorts were, I worked on creating a unique pair of pants; I came up with the idea of creating seams on the front and back of Levis 501s to take men’s pants and turn them into women’s pants. The original pair created was our Original Reinvented Vintage 501, which we still sell online and in stores. The Originals have seams running all the way through the front and back of the pants with reinvented pockets. After launching our online store and receiving such positive feedback from bloggers and influencers — like Chiara Ferragni, Danielle Bernstein, Brittany Xavier, Paola Alberdi, and Amber Asaly — we were given the opportunity to sell at Jolie boutique in Newport Beach. Today, we can still be found at Jolie and have a pop-up shop at the LAB Anti-Mall in Costa Mesa. People all over the world send us pictures in our widely popular denim, whether it’s our cropped jacket, reinvented skirt, or a pair of our jeans and shorts. All of this and more can be seen on our Instagram @EBDenim. Follow us for a better look at our current and upcoming styles, and if you’re looking to collaborate please reach out to us!
